Job summary

Arabian Knight Restaurant is seeking an experienced Arabic Chef to lead our kitchen team in Bali. You will prepare a wide range of Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes, ensuring top quality and presentation while mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates will have a culinary diploma or training, deep knowledge of Arabic spices and techniques, and a strong understanding of halal practices in a fast-paced, multicultural setting. English is a plus, and on-site work is required in Bali.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Arabic Chef or in a Middle Eastern kitchen.
• Deep understanding of Arabic spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of halal food preparation and kitchen hygiene standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Culinary diploma or relevant training is preferred.
• Can speak English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes, including appetizers, mains, grilled items, and traditional rice dishes.
• Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Collaborate with the team to create new seasonal or special dishes.
• Monitor kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed.
• Uphold halal food handling practices at all times.
