Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is opening a new Mediterranean & Middle Eastern restaurant in Ubud, Bali. We seek an experienced Head Chef to own the kitchen, build and train a strong team, and establish robust systems to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

You will lead menu development, implement SOPs, maintain high food quality, and drive consistent kitchen operations. Relocation support is available for the right candidate and a performance-based bonus may apply.

• Must have proven Head Chef experience.
• Strong cooking and kitchen management skills.
• Able to recruit, train and lead a kitchen team.
• Experience establishing kitchen processes, SOPs, recipes and standards.
• Ability to maintain high food quality and presentation.
• Organized, hands-on leader with strong initiative.
• Experience in menu development and creating new dishes.
• Experience with Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, or Central Asian cuisine is a strong advantage.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a new restaurant in Ubud, currently in the final stages of preparation before opening. Our concept is Mediterranean & Middle Eastern cuisine with Central Asian influences, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, hospitality, and creating a unique dining experience. You will take full ownership of the kitchen, build and lead the team, establish strong systems, and develop the concept together with us.

About you

Proven experience as a Head Chef

Excellent cooking and kitchen management skills

Ability to recruit, train, and lead a strong kitchen team

Experience establishing efficient kitchen processes, SOPs, recipes, and standards

Ability to maintain consistently high food quality and presentation

Organized, responsible, hands‑on, and a strong leader

Experience in menu development and creating new dishes

Experience with Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, or Central Asian cuisine is a strong advantage

IDR 20–30 million/month base salary, depending on experience
