Job summary

EdgeConneX seeks a Senior NOC Manager APAC to build and lead the Kuala Lumpur NOC from the ground up. You will establish regional in-country NOC Leads, define 24x7 staffing, and coordinate with partners across APAC, including initial work with Jakarta.

The role focuses on incident management, processes, and ensuring SLA adherence for critical facility operations. You will drive process documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and regional standardization while supporting travel across APAC

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical service desk or similar operations with people management.
• Experience managing outsourced or vendor teams across multiple sites/countries.
• Data center or critical infrastructure exposure is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; training in data center/IT fields preferred.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% across APAC; right to work in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Build Kuala Lumpur NOC team with partner; establish 24x7 shift model.
• Lead in-country NOC Leads across APAC (Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.).
• Own 24x7 monitoring and response for critical facility alarms.
• Lead incident management, communication, and post-incident reports.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with vendors and sites.
• Oversee security and facilities coordination; after-hours support.
• Develop on-call/escalation model and regional escalation point.
• Write NOC playbooks, runbooks, and process docs; align with global standards.
• Produce KPI/SLA reports and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships, resourcing and performance.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop NOC staff; support career growth.
• Contribute to regional projects and NOC standardization initiatives.
