Job summary

DayOne seeks a Regional Electrical Leader to govern electrical infrastructure across Southeast Asia data center operations. You will set engineering standards, oversee lifecycle management, and drive reliability in a fast-growing regional portfolio.

You will act as a regional SME, coordinate with sites, OEMs, and contractors, and lead incident response, risk mitigation, and governance across multiple markets while ensuring compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in electrical engineering, facilities operations, or critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated SME for complete electrical infrastructure lifecycle.
• Deep knowledge of MV/LV power distribution, protection relays, generators, UPS.
• Experience with IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70/70E and regional regulations.
• Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional technical leadership for electrical infrastructure across SEA data center operations.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of electrical systems.
• Act as regional SME for complex electrical issues and incidents.
• Drive reliability through preventive, predictive maintenance, and RCA-based actions.
• Develop and implement standards for switching, maintenance, and handover.
• Support commissioning, energization, and operational readiness reviews.
• Ensure electrical safety compliance with local regulations and permit-to-work procedures.
• Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and contractors to ensure quality and timely resolutions.
• Coach site teams and build regional capability in electrical operations.
