Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking an ambitious Marketing & Operations Department Head to oversee Ambon operations and drive growth. You will lead marketing initiatives, build strong customer relationships, and coordinate with port operators and agents to meet business goals.

You will mentor a team, monitor industry trends, and ensure compliance with integrated management practices while advancing service efficiency and risk reduction in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 3–5 years in Sales & Marketing, preferably in port operations or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of multimodal transportation, port services, and cargo handling.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; leadership ability.
• Fluent in English; able to lead a team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans based on market analysis and operational strategies.
• Establish and maintain strategic customer relationships.
• Mentor and coach team members to develop capabilities.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer behavior to refine strategies.
• Coordinate with port operators, shipping agents, vendors, and operational stakeholders.
