Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Operation Department Head to lead logistics operations. You will plan delivery routes, optimize distribution networks, and ensure compliance with transport, customs, and internal regulations across a wide Indonesian network.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in logistics, at least 5 years in operation logistics and freight forwarding, and fluent English. You will mentor team members and deliver timely operational reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Operation Logistics and Freight Forwarder.
• Active English both written and spoken.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics (preferred).
• Knowledge of MK3L.

Responsibilities

• Plan efficient delivery routes and manage distribution networks to optimize the cargo delivery.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with regulations and permits, including transportation regulations and customs laws.
• Ensure customer orders are processed efficiently, and manage the cargo delivery according to contract agreements.
• Responsible for developing team members through mentoring, coaching, counseling, etc.
• Availability of reports on operational and project results.
• Control operational costs.
• Make monthly reports on all matters relating to operations.
