Job summary

PT Multisarana Bahteramandiri seeks a seasoned Supervisor to oversee all Airfreight Operations activities, ensure end-to-end carrier management, and coordinate post-booking documentation and system updates.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's or master's in business, has 5+ years in logistics with airline experience, and is proficient in MS Office and English. Residence near Cengkareng or Tangerang is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics/airline industry in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in handling air cargo operational activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technical software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent in verbal and written English and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all Airfreight Operations activities.
• Manages post-booking file management: documentation, system updates, and operational finance.
• Monitors import and export shipments and checks shipment status regularly.
• Communicates proactively with customer service for exceptions.
• Supports customer service in query resolution and exception handling.
• Acts as escalation point between customer service and operations; ensures end-to-end carrier management.

Job description

Supervises all Airfreight Operations activities.

All file management activities post booking such as Documentation, System Updates, Operational finance, etc.

Monitoring and following up of Import and Export shipment and checking shipment status regularly

Proactive communication with customer service in case of exceptions.

Supporting customer service in customer query resolution and exception handling.

Supporting Airfreight team members, acting as escalation point between customer service and operations.

Ensures end to end Carrier Management for Airfreight Operations, i.e. overall Airfreight Procurement, Carrier Relationship Management, Capacity Management, balancing the carrier mix, carrier query resolution as well as management of Carrier Booking transactions.

Requirements:

Possessing Bachelors/Masters or equivalent degree in business or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics/ airline industry in managerial capacity.

Experience in handling air cargo operational activities

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other technical software.

The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.

Excellent in verbal and written English

Good Knowledge abount PIB and PEB

Having a home or residence around Cengkareng or Tangerang Area
