Role Description

This full-time, on-site Logistic & Forwarding Operation Manager role is based in Kota Tangerang Selatan at PT. Milenial Solusi Internusa. The individual in this position oversees end-to-end logistics and forwarding operations, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring domestic and international shipments. Responsibilities include managing relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other partners, ensuring timely deliveries, and resolving operational issues. The role involves supervising daily warehouse and distribution activities, optimizing routing and transportation costs, and maintaining accurate documentation for customs, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements. The manager will analyze operational performance, implement process improvements, coordinate closely with internal teams and clients, and ensure high service quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong logistics and forwarding operations experience, including shipment planning, routing, and coordination of domestic and international freight.
• Proficiency in documentation and regulatory compliance, such as customs paperwork, import/export procedures, and adherence to local and international regulations.
• Ability to manage vendor and client relationships, negotiate with carriers and partners, and maintain clear, professional communication.
• Demonstrated skills in data analysis and problem solving to monitor KPIs, control costs, and improve operational efficiency.
• Experience leading teams in an on-site environment, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and coaching.
• Comfort with logistics and warehouse management systems, Microsoft Office tools, and standard transportation and tracking platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency for international coordination is an advantage.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain roles in Indonesia is highly beneficial.
