Job summary

Alliance 21 Group Pte. Ltd. in Jakarta is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to coordinate import/export shipments and provide admin support for Freight Services - Indonesia.

You will receive freighting instructions from Head Office, liaise with worldwide agents, and assist with quotations and billing. The role supports inside sales, handles time-critical shipments with a 24/7 control tower, and ensures compliance with SOPs while maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Handle operational information and service inquiries promptly

Responsibilities

• Receive and execute freighting instructions/documents from Head Office for import/export shipments

• Support Control Tower 24/7 for time-critical shipments
• Address client requests promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and report shipment irregularities

To deliver the full spectrum of customer service operations for import and export coordination of shipments and administration support for the department of The Freight Services - Indonesia.

Job description:

• To receive and execute freighting instructions/ documents from Head Office (SG) for import/export shipments
• To liaise with worldwide agents, airlines and vendors for cargo reservation, transport collections and services
• To support inside sales and business development by engaging with leads and prospects, building meaningful relationships with customers, preparing draft and quotations and assisting with billing
• To support Control Tower 24/7 for time-critical shipments with duty rotation
• To handle and address client's requests for operational information and service complaints promptly ensuring 100% customer satisfaction
• To ensure full compliance with Standard Operational Procedures and report irregularities in shipment matters
• To always maintain confidentiality of work

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of freight / logistics experience
