Responsibilities

• Implement and fine-tune GPUDirect Storage (GDS) and NVMe-oF architectures to eliminate compute bottlenecks.
• Manage and troubleshoot high-speed storage networking fabrics (InfiniBand, RoCE, high-speed Ethernet).
• Drive capacity planning, data protection, and disaster recovery to meet uptime objectives.
• Monitor IOPS and throughput; perform RCA with cross-functional teams and OEM vendors.

About the role

We are seeking a specialized engineer to architect, optimize, and maintain the low-latency distributed storage environments required to power heavy data ingestion, model training workloads, and ultra-fast checkpointing for next-generation, high-density GPU data center clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy ultra-low-latency distributed file systems and high-performance enterprise storage platforms (Lustre, Ceph, Enterprise NAS/SAN)
• Implement and fine-tune GPUDirect Storage (GDS) and NVMe-over-Fabrics (NVMe-oF) architectures to eliminate compute bottlenecks
• Manage and troubleshoot high-speed storage networking fabrics, focusing on InfiniBand, RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet), and high-speed Ethernet
• Drive rigorous capacity planning, data protection, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure strict infrastructure uptime objectives
• Monitor IOPS and throughput performance, isolate hardware/software bottlenecks, and execute deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) alongside cross-functional compute engineering teams and OEM vendors

Quali

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise storage engineering experience within mission-critical data centers, large-scale cloud providers, or HPC/AI clusters
• Deep proficiency in block, file, and object storage protocols, paired with a solid grasp of distributed architectures
• Exceptional verbal and written English skills required to collaborate within a global team environment
