Job summary

PT KGL Indonesia is hiring a customs broker to manage CEISA 4.0 operations and oversee import/export documentation. The role requires handling PIB, PEB, COO, and related paperwork, with knowledge of HS codes, LARTAS, and duties calculations.

Applicants should have 2–5 years in customs brokerage or related logistics, a valid PPJK certificate, and strong organizational and English-language communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or import/export logistics.
• Valid PPJK certificate.
• Detail-oriented with strong administrative and communication skills.
• English language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CEISA 4.0 customs system proficiently.
• Prepare and process PIB, PEB, COO, and other customs documents.
• Know HS Code classification and duties/taxes calculations.
• Communicate effectively with Customs authorities, shipping lines, and trucking providers.
• Foster strong relationships with Customs officials at ports/airports and with port authorities.

Job description

· Understand and be proficient in operating the CEISA 4.0 customs system.

· Be skilled in preparing and processing documents such as the Import Declaration (PIB), Export Declaration (PEB), Certificate of Origin (COO), and other supplementary customs documentation.

· Possess knowledge regarding HS Code classification, regulations on Prohibitions and Restrictions (LARTAS), and the calculation of import duties and taxes.

· Be capable of communicating effectively with Customs authorities, shipping lines, and trucking service providers.

· Possess a strong communication network and good working relationships with Customs officials at ports/airports, airline/shipping line representatives, and port authorities.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Bachelor Degree / in Logistic /Transportation or equivalent.

· Must have experience minimum 2 to 5 years of work experience in customs brokerage (PPJK), freight forwarding, or export-import logistics.

· Must hold and valid an official PPJK (Customs Brokerage Service Company) certificate, particularly for positions that require signing authority or responsibility for documentation.

· Detail-oriented, organized in administrative tasks, possesses good communication skills, and has a command of the English language.
