Job summary

PT Omoway Technology Indonesia is seeking an Aftersales Technical Support specialist for West Java, Bandung area. You will diagnose and resolve vehicle issues, provide technical guidance to dealers and service centers, and conduct on-site inspections and troubleshooting.

You will prepare technical reports, support warranty processes, and collaborate with the Aftersales Supervisor to elevate service quality. Frequent travel within Jabodetabek and Bandung is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years in automotive technical support, maintenance, or aftersales.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, mechanical and electrical components.
• EV and motorcycle diagnostics/repairs are a plus.
• Willing to travel frequently within Jabodetabek and Bandung.

Provide technical support to dealers and technicians, troubleshoot vehicle issues, and ensure effective aftersales service across the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to dealers, service centers, and technicians in diagnosing and resolving vehicle technical issues.

Troubleshoot vehicle problems and provide appropriate repair guidance and technical solutions.

Conduct on-site visits to dealers and service centers to assist with technical inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.

Support vehicle maintenance, repair, and warranty claim processes in accordance with company procedures.

Coordinate with the Aftersales Supervisor and relevant teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Prepare technical reports, document recurring vehicle problems, and provide feedback for product improvement.

Assist in technical training for dealer technicians and service personnel when required.

Monitor aftersales service quality and ensure technical issues are handled efficiently.

Travel within the assigned area, including Jabodetabek and Bandung, to provide field technical support.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in automotive technical support, vehicle maintenance, workshop operations, or aftersales service.

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, mechanical components, electrical systems, and troubleshooting procedures.

Experience diagnosing and repairing motorcycles or electric vehicles (EVs) will be an advantage.

Ability to analyze technical problems and provide practical solutions independently.

Good communication and coordination skills when working with dealers, technicians, and internal teams.

Willing to travel frequently within Jabodetabek and Bandung, West Java.

Able to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple technical issues effectively.

Proficient in preparing technical reports and using basic computer applications.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with electric motorcycles or automotive technology companies.

Familiarity with warranty claim procedures and aftersales service standards.

Mandarin or English proficiency is an advantage.
