Job summary

SEPHORA in Jakarta Timur is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant. This role is vital to ensure accurate revenue collection and requires a bachelor's degree in accounting along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Accounts Receivable Accountant

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely collection of revenue. This role involves assisting with sales integration tasks, sub-bank clearing, invoice creation, monitoring AR aging, and ensuring accurate customer data under supervision.

• Assisting with sales integration checking and follow-up in resolving discrepancies
• Assisting with sub-bank clearing operations, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of transactions
• Creating invoices and ensuring their accuracy
• Participating in month-end closing processes, assisting with the reconciliation of AR‑related accounts and preparation of financial reports
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer master data within the ERP system
• Clearing incoming payments and reconciling with outstanding invoices
• Ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and company policies

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting function
• Large ERP system experience, SAP preferred
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors, team, and management
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and is solution‑oriented
