Sephora Indonesia is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team in Jakarta. You will own core GL processes, maintain accuracy in journal entries and reconciliations, including fixed assets and inventory.

Additionally, you will support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, prepare audit schedules, assist with inquiries, and help in drafting audited financial statements and statutory submissions in compliance with IFRS.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CPA/CA preferred.
• 3–5 years accounting experience, Big 4 preferred.
• Fluent in English; English-language environment preferred.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP or similar ERP is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to keep the general ledger accurate (fixed assets, inventory, accruals).
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as required.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with audit inquiries; support drafting audited financial statements.

Senior General Ledger Accountant

As a Senior General Ledger Accountant within our team, you will report to the Finance Controlling Manager for Shared Services and will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of the ongoing financial operations, and will be expected to take complete ownership for your areas of focus.

• Preparing journal entries and reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger including fixed assets, inventory and accruals
• Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes in line with required timeliens
• Preparing all Audit Schedules and assisting with Audit inquiries, and supporting the drafting of audited financial statements (AFS) for both internal and external audits
• Preparing statutory compliance submissions, including audit, tax and secretarial
• Supporting statutory compliance submissions, including audit, tax, and secretarial requirements

We would love to hear from you if are/have…

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/CA is preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably gained in the Big 4
• Fluent in English, experience working or studying in an English language environment is sufficient
• An Excel champion, with some experience with a large ERP system such as SAP previously
• Highly analytical with great problem-solving skills
• Good communicator and able to build effective relationships with peers and internal customers
