Job summary

Sephora SEA is seeking an Arabic-speaking Accounts Payable Accountant for our Shared Service Centre – Middle East Operations. You will own AP tasks, manage high-volume invoices, and ensure robust internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

This role reports to the Assistant Accounts Payable Manager. Ideal candidates are fluent in Arabic and English, hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, have at least two years of accounting experience, and are proficient with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting function.
• Experience with SAP or large ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for accounts payable tasks including vendor invoice processing and communications.
• Ensure proper controls on disbursements and electronic payments; support month-end close.
• Meet deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

Sephora is looking for an Arabic-speaking Accounts Payable Accountant for our Shared Service Centre – Middle East Operations. As an Arabic-speaking Accounts Payable Accountant within our team, you will report to the Assistant Accounts Payable Manager for Shared Services and play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of the ongoing financial operations and will be expected to take complete ownership of your areas of focus.

• Taking responsibility for accounts payable tasks with efficiency and accuracy – including vendor invoice processing for high volume of invoices and disbursements, vendor communication, internal control monitoring
• Ensuring proper controls on disbursements and electronic payments
