Job summary

PELITA HARAPAN UNIVERSITY. seeks an experienced accounting leader to manage the full cycle of accounting operations and prepare financial statements in line with PSAK and IFRS.

You will support tax compliance, strengthen internal controls, and mentor a team of accounting professionals while collaborating with auditors and regulators to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field from a reputable university is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably in supervisory/assistant manager roles.
• Proven extensive knowledge of Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK) and practical application.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the full cycle of accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and cost accounting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PSAK and IFRS as applicable.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support the tax team with financial data for tax returns and ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
• Develop, implement and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Conduct financial analysis, provide reports, and make recommendations to management on financial performance and strategies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals for continuous improvement and high performance.
• Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
• Ensure adherence to governance principles and internal policies.

• Ensure adherence to corporate governance principles and internal company policies

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field such asAccounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professionalaccountingqualification is highly preferred
• Having min 7 years of relevant work experience inaccountingand finance roles, preferably inSupervisor/ Assistant Managerial level
• Mandatory:Proven extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of IndonesianAccountingStandards (PSAK) and their practical application
• Proficiency in financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g. Accurate, Oracle (preferred), Microsoft Dynamics)
• Excellent command of both Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with local teams and international stakeholders
