Job summary

PT SOECHI LINES Tbk in Central Jakarta is seeking a junior Accountant to support our finance team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required and MS Office proficiency is expected. The role is on-site at our Central Jakarta office.

You will check vouchers, post journals, and ensure financial records are complete, while assisting with monthly and yearly close, reporting, and ship-related USD/IDR calculations.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Accountancy).
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Check all payment vouchers (payable/cash) and receipt vouchers and ensure journals and expenses are posted correctly.
• Ensure accuracy of recording and administrative completeness of all financial transactions.
• Prepare financial data neatly and regularly.
• Prepare and post a full memorial journal; perform monthly and yearly book closing.
• Prepare and present supporting reports for explanations of financial statements.
• Prepare a Trial Balance report in USD and compute Profit/Loss per ship in USD and IDR.
• Prepare ship cash reports and perform other tasks related to financial statements.

Responsibility:

Check all payment vouchers (payable / cash) and receipt vouchers and make sure the journals and expenses are posted on the proper post

Ensure that there are no errors regarding the recording and administrative completeness of all financial transactions

Prepare financial data neatly and regularly

Make a whole memorial journal

Doing monthly and yearly book closing process

Prepare and present all supporting reports as a basis for explanation of financial statements

Make a Trial Balance report in USD

Make a Profit / Loss per ship in USD and IDR

Making ship cash reports

Other tasks related to financial statements
