Job summary

Tropically Group Bali is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Supervisor to strengthen the finance team and build a structured, accurate operation. You will oversee daily accounting, ensure timely recording, and supervise the finance staff.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of AP/AR, cash flow, and internal controls, plus hospitality/real estate experience. You will provide management with reliable financial information and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 4–5 years in Accounting/Finance with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with AP/AR, bank rec, cash flow, and month-end close.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and enforce controls.

Tropically Group is a growing Bali based business group with operations across property, hospitality, villa/residential assets, and related lifestyle businesses.

We are looking for an experienced and hands on Accounting & Finance Supervisor to strengthen our finance team and help build a more structured, accurate, and scalable financial operation.

This is a key position responsible for overseeing daily accounting and finance operations, supervising the finance team, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing accurate financial information to management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily accounting and finance activities.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Supervise monthly and year-end closing.
• Review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and other management reports.
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and account classifications.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure they are resolved promptly.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Oversee AP and AR processes across the group.
• Review supplier invoices and payment schedules.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and collection status.
• Ensure payments and collections are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances.

Cash Flow & Treasury

• Monitor daily cash positions and bank balances.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor upcoming payment obligations and cash requirements.
• Review payment requests before submission for approval.
• Coordinate banking activities and ensure proper documentation.

Finance Team Supervision

• Supervise and coordinate the Finance team.
• Review the work of Finance Officers and Finance Administrators.
• Establish clear finance procedures and workflows.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide guidance, training, and feedback to team members.

Internal Controls

• Maintain and improve financial controls and approval procedures.
• Ensure proper segregation between preparation, review, approval, and payment execution.
• Ensure all transactions are supported by appropriate documentation.
• Monitor compliance with company financial policies.
• Identify financial risks and report them to management.

Tax & External Coordination

• Coordinate with external accountants, tax consultants, auditors, and other financial professionals.
• Ensure accounting records are properly prepared for tax and compliance requirements.
• Monitor tax related payment schedules and obligations.
• Assist management in resolving accounting and tax matters.

Business & Management Support

• Provide management with accurate and timely financial information.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flow, and financial performance.
• Highlight financial risks, unusual transactions, and areas requiring management attention.
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Assist management with financial analysis for new projects, investments, and business initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior position.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, bank reconciliation, cash flow, and month-end closing.
• Experience supervising or mentoring finance/accounting staff.
• Experience with accounting software, XERO or ERP systems.
• Experience working with multiple entities or business units is an advantage.
• Experience in hospitality, property, real estate, villa management, or F&B is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of Indonesian accounting and tax practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
