Job summary

PT ITSEC Asia Tbk is seeking an experienced finance professional to handle accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting for a consulting/project-based environment in Jakarta. You will coordinate with tax advisors, support audits, and ensure accurate project costing and billing with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a strong grasp of Indonesia GAAP, tax regulations, and cloud accounting platforms like Xero, along with excellent Excel skills and English/Bahasa communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in Consulting/professional services or project-based environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesia GAAP, tax, and accounting best practices.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting and ensure accuracy of all financial records.
• Lead month-end closing: journals, accruals, amortization, intercompany, and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure alignment with group accounting policies.
• Review AR/AP entries, expense claims, vendor invoices, and payment batches.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis with manager support.
• Ensure timely group reporting for Indonesia and regional consolidation.
• Coordinate with tax consultants for monthly and annual filings (VAT, WHT, CIT).
• Support audits and maintain complete documentation.
• Supervise a small team (AP/AR/Junior Accountant) and provide guidance.

Job description

Accounting & Month-End Closing

• Manage full-cycle accounting and ensure accuracy of all financial records
• Lead month-end closing: journals, accruals, amortaziation, intercompany, and reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger and ensure alignment with group accounting policies
• Review AR/AP entries, expense claims, vendor invoices, and payment batches

Financial Reporting

• Help the manager to prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis
• Ensure timely submission of group reporting for Indonesia and regional consolidation
• Work closely with FP&A for budget vs actual reviewss and project-based performance

Tax & Compliance

• Coordinate with tax consultants for monthly and annual filings (VAT,WHT,CIT)
• Review tax computations and ensure compliance with indonesian regulations
• Support audits (internal & external) and maintain complete documentation

Project/Consulting Support

• Experience in a consulting of project-based environment (time-tracking, WIP, revenue recognition, project costing)
• Work with Delivery/Operations to ensure accuracy of project billing and cost allocation
• Help validate PSOhub/Xero Project data alignment

Systems & Process Improvement

• Use Xero for accounting (Xero experience is a strong plus).
• Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and help implement automation
• Ensure proper controls, documentation, and data quality across finance processes

Team Coordination

• Supervise a small team (AP/AR/Junior Accountant)
• Ensure tasks are properly delegated, reviewed, and delivered on time
• Provide guidance and training when needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in Consulting/professional services or Project-based companies
• Strong Knowledge of Indonesia GAAP, tax, and accounting best practices
• Xero Experiences is strong plus (or other cloud accounting systems)
• Solid understanding of project accounting concepts is an advantage
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with digital tools
• Strong analystical skills, attention to detail, and structured thinking
• Motivatd, proactive, and able to work independency with high ownership
• Good Communication skills in English and Bahasa
