Job summary

PT Indonesia Surfaris is seeking an Accounting & Finance Supervisor to lead daily financial operations, ensure accuracy, and support month-end closing. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with Xero, Jurnal, Accurate, or Odoo.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with at least two years of experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment on site in Bali.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (Xero, Jurnal, Accurate, Odoo) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system accurately.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing.
• Manage Accounts Payable including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash records.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Support VAT and withholding tax filings and basic tax administration.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and METICULOUS Accounting & Finance Supervisor to join our team.

The ideal candidate has solid accounting knowledge, strong Excel skills, and hands‑on experience with accounting software. You should be able to work independently, make decisions, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.

Basic Accounting Knowledge

• Journal Entries & General Ledger
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Inventory Accounting
• Tax Compliance — VAT & Withholding Tax
• Accounting Systems — Xero, Jurnal, Accurate, Odoo, or similar
• Accurate Data Entry
• Month-End Closing Process

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with the month-end closing process.
• Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash records.
• Manage petty cash, including disbursements, reimbursements, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting documents and ensure proper filing of financial records.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Support basic tax administration, including documentation for VAT and withholding tax filings.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Use accounting software for daily bookkeeping — Xero experience is preferred.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Meticulous, critical, analytical, and decisive in handling accounting matters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Xero experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Indonesian tax regulations.
