Job summary

LALA, a Parisian restaurant in Central, Hong Kong, is seeking a passionate Sommelier to manage our French-focused wine program and guide wine service on the floor.

You will curate the cellar, pair wines with seasonal menus, train staff, and collaborate with suppliers to source exciting labels. Fluency in English required; French or Cantonese is a strong advantage. HK work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of Sommelier or Wine Captain experience in fine dining or premium restaurants.
• WSET Level 2 or 3, CMS or equivalent preferred.
• Hong Kong work authorization (HKID or valid visa) required.

Responsibilities

• Wine Service: Recommend and serve wines to guests, creating pairings that complement our French menu.
• Inventory & Curation: Manage the wine cellar, track stock levels, and work with suppliers to source labels.
• Team Training: Conduct tastings and briefings to build wine knowledge among floor staff.
