Job summary

Chong Hing Bank Limited is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to provide 7x24 support, administer and implement data and voice networks and security systems in line with bank policies. You will handle change control, configure routing/switching equipment, hosted IP voice services, and firewalls while driving improvements and resilience.

The role requires a university degree in Computer Science or IT, at least 5 years in infrastructure, and strong analytical/communication skills.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Computer Science or Information Technology related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in infrastructure administration and support, preferably in financial institution
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Self-initiated to deliver excellent services
• Ability to work independently and under pressure with integrity

Responsibilities

• Perform 7 x 24 support, administration and implementation on IT network (data & voice) and security systems of the bank according to defined policies, processes and procedures
• Follow change control procedure to execute the network change including configuring routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls
• Implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment
• Secure network systems according to IT security policy
• Participate in project management implementation process
• Maximize network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting and coordinating with Network Team Lead
• Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments
• Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects
• Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable patch releases regularly
• Liaise with project management teams and other engineers on a regular basis
• Keep close communication with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture
• Provide helpdesk hotline support if required
