Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited is seeking an experienced networking professional in Hong Kong to plan, design, install, administer and support the bank’s global network and Internet connections.

You will maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and Internet services, configure next‑gen firewalls, deploy IPsec VPNs, and manage load balancers and Nginx to assure high availability of core banking apps. Strong EIGRP/OSPF skills and overseas branch support are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in networking infrastructure support.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, wireless, and Internet services.
• Certifications CCNP/HCIP/H3CSE, F5 or Aruba are advantageous.
• Mainframe knowledge and banking data center operations.
• Experience with SLA, problem, change and incident management.
• Knowledge of EIGRP and OSPF.
• Overseas branch network support.
• Strong collaboration across engineering, development and operations.

Job description

Responsible for plan, design, install, administer and support the bank’s network and Internet connections.

Responsibilities:

Provide support for daily network operation and maintenance, including fixed (LAN/WAN) networks, wireless connectivity, and Internet services.

Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining next-generation firewalls to safeguard banking assets. including policy optimization, deploying Site-to-Site IPsec VPNs

Deploying and managing enterprise load balancer and Nginx, including virtual servers, pools, and custom iRules or traffic policies.to ensure seamless performance and high availability of critical banking applications.

Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise Wi-Fi networks, including mobility controllers, access points, management platforms and Network Access Control (NAC).

Partner with application development teams to design and provision robust network environments for development, testing, and production phases.

Provide high-tier technical troubleshooting to rapidly resolve complex network and connectivity incidents.

Actively share technical expertise and project experience with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.Demonstrate a strong understanding of team dynamics to work effectively across diverse engineering, development, and operational.

Assist to define network & security related policy and baseline.

Sound knowledge in EIGRP and OSPF technology

Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by management

Requirements:

Degree holder in Information Technology or related professional training.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in networking infrastructure support.

CCNP\HCIP\H3CSE Or F5, Aruba certification will be an advantage.

Sound Mainframe technical skills and familiar with banking data center operation.

Thorough knowledge of a variety of computer hardware and utilities.

Experience in SLA, Problem, Change & Incident management.

Possess domain knowledge of retail banking
