Job summary

Chong Hing Bank Limited is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead system delivery across reporting, BI, general ledger, and audit/statement printing platforms. You will coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and business users through the full SDLC, from requirements gathering to deployment and documentation.

The role requires a bachelor degree in IT or CS, 10+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in banking, and strong skills in SQL, Oracle, DB2, ETL, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• 10 years or above IT experience with at least 5 years of in banking / financial sector
• Solid experience in large scale project management and system implementation, prefer in banking industry
• Solid technology knowledge of SQL, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server Database, Windows, UNIX, and Linux
• Experience in vendor and stakeholder management
• Good people management, supervisory and coaching skill
• Good understanding of various banking systems
• Strong experience on data manipulation using ETL or equivalent tool for managing ODS, Data Warehouse, Data Lake and / or Data Platform
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)

Responsibilities

• Support system delivery for banking systems including but not limited to Reporting System, Business Intelligence System, General Ledger System, Audit Confirmation System and Statement Printing system, etc.
• Provide technical and both functional and non-functional recommendations / solutions for the assigned task
• Work closely with stakeholders, vendor and business users to participate in the whole software development lifecycle, collecting business requirements, performing systems analysis and design, creating technical specifications, quality review including testing and source review, implementation and preparing necessary documentation
• Assist in tracking and reporting system project / customization process, issues and risks to ensure deliverable are on track
• Support all user activities including but limit to user requirement collection, data migration, UAT, production verification and post implementation review
• Assist to manage internal resources / external vendors to ensure all service and deliverables are in good quality
• Provide technical training to team members
• Provide system support, including user inquiry and problem solving (during office and non-officer hours)
