Job summary

JP Morgan in Hong Kong seeks a senior banker to drive growth for high-tech clients in the Innovation Economy Team. You will build relationships with founders and venture firms and coordinate across corporate banking, investment banking, and asset management to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

The role emphasizes origination, deal execution, and a deep understanding of FinTech, regulatory guidelines, and risk management to support client success in the Hong Kong market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience, especially in Innovation Economy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the local market and ability to win new business and close transactions.
• Ability to engage with Founders/CEO/CFO and execute corporate finance and credit deals.
• Solid understanding of local regulatory guidelines for FinTech.
• Demonstrated credit knowledge and ability to provide financing solutions.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with Corporate Banking clients in sectors such as E-Commerce, SaaS, Emerging Technologies, FinTech and Virtual Assets.
• Identify new product growth areas and establish new client relationships with Founders and VC Firms.
• Develop forward-looking business plans for clients and maintain existing relationships.
• Market a comprehensive range of solutions including FX, flow derivatives, traditional credit, venture debt, investments and treasury services.
• Partner with Compliance and Risk on regulatory compliance and operational excellence with FinTech clients.
• Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs and convert them into financial solutions.
• Collaborate with Investment Banking, Payments, Private Banking, Asset Management, and other lines on client coverage.
• Work with Credit teams on risk profiling of portfolio clients and prospects.
