Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognized diploma holder with at least 2 years of relevant working experience, volunteer coordination preferred.
• Self-motivated with good organization and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the projects including service statistics, project evaluation and expenditure reports; and coordinate volunteer service proposed by the funder;
• Assist in coordinating individual volunteers for the Social Services Department; collect and maintain volunteer service data; prepare statistical reports and summaries to support management planning;
• Participate in planning, logistics and execution of the volunteer recognition ceremony, and support for other recognition programmes;
• Participate in the development and implementation of the Volunteer Management System including redefining functions and user acceptance testing;
• Support the planning, coordination and execution of departmental projects, events, fundraising programmes and corporate activities;
• Conduct research and provide analytical support for the formulation and review of departmental policies; and
• Coordinate staff training, seminars, talks and departmental activities to support organisational development.
