Job summary

All Star Agency in Hong Kong is looking for a Vice President - Operations Planning & Transformation to lead branch-wide systems enhancements and critical operational projects, aligning with the branch's target operations and systems model.

You will support the Section Head in coordinating projects across Hong Kong, overseas offices and Head Office, while managing day-to-day operations, reporting, and business continuity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 4-5 years of back-office banking operations experience.
• Strong project management skills with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methods.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Section Head in planning and implementing branch-wide systems enhancement projects and other IT and operational projects.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and sections in Hong Kong, overseas and Head Office, arrange and run project meetings, and prepare status reports, meeting materials and minutes.
• Prepare operations-related reports for Head Office and local regulators, and support internal procedure reviews.
• Support the maintenance of the Branch's business continuity plan to mitigate operational risk in emergency situations.
• Provide operational support and training inside and outside the Branch, and to other branches when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency, including through core banking system enhancements or robotic process automation, and take on other duties assigned by superiors.

About the Role

This role suits a banking operations professional with solid project-management skills and a drive to improve productivity and efficiency. You will assist the Section Head in coordinating projects with departments in Hong Kong, overseas offices and Head Office, while supporting day-to-day operations administration, reporting and business continuity planning.

Requirements

• Good project management and planning skills, with knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies. Experience managing projects with Head Office or a Regional Office is an advantage.
• Familiarity with core banking systems or robotic process automation (RPA) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and deliver on time, with good negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
