Job summary

Local Bank in Hong Kong seeks Assistant Manager / Senior Officer for Sales & Service Project to support Direct Channel initiatives in Retail Banking. You will assist the Manager, lead project teams, and coordinate across Product, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.

The role requires 4+ years banking experience, retail banking knowledge, and strong English/Chinese communication. Senior Officer level considered for lower experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above with banking experience preferred.
• Familiar with retail banking products and system operations.
• Experience in project management and change management.
• Proficient in English and Chinese.
• Very customer-focused when working with internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager to lead and manage the team to support Direct Channels projects and change management.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to identify business needs; drive process changes and system enhancements.
• Acquire user requirements from end users and translate into deliverables.
• Prepare and review business cases, project plans, user requirements, functional specs, UAT plans, test cases, and arrange UAT/training.
• Implement Direct Channels and handle bank-wide projects on various systems (Cardlink, CSS, BOSS, VRU).
• Report to and assist Manager in allocating project resources and coordinating production verification.

A reputable local Bank in Hong Kong with a well-established Branch Network is looking for anAssistant Manager, Sales & Service Project to join her Direct Channel Department in Retail Bankingfor support Direct Channels projects and change management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager to lead and manage the team to support Direct Channels projects andchange management. Independently handle projects with planning, managing, monitoring,and executing capabilities to ensure effective project rollout and smooth migration
• Coordinate with relevant parties to identify business needs. Drive process changes andimplement process re-engineering and system enhancement across Product, IT, Risk andCompliance, Operations, etc.
• Acquire User Requirement from end users
• Prepare and /or review business case, project plan, User Requirement, functional spec, UAT plan, test case, conduct/ arrange UAT and user training
• Implement Direct Channels and handle bankwide projects on various systems, such as Cardlink, CSS, BOSS, VRU, etc.
• Report to and assist Manager to allocate sufficient project resources
• Arrange the production verification to ensure the wellness of system implementation

Requirements:

• University graduate or above with minimum 4 years banking experience preferable inproject/ lower academic qualifications with substantial years of working experience
• Familiar with retail banking products & system operations
• Good knowledge of functional test, test management tools and practices'
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Very customer focused when working with internal customers
• Candidates with less experience will be consider as Senior Officer
