Qualifications

• Degree holder in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications.
• 8+ years of banking experience with exposure to business banking operations preferred.
• Experience in lending, payments, wealth management, digital banking or customer lifecycle management is advantageous.
• Proven track record delivering medium to large-scale projects in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders at all levels.

Description

• Lead and deliver project management and consulting services across system implementations, business process transformation, workflow optimisation, and re-engineering initiatives within the commercial banking environment.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery against agreed objectives.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business units, operations, technology, audit, legal, and compliance functions to maintain strong project governance and effective execution.
• Partner with various business and functional teams to prioritise project portfolios, optimise resource allocation, and oversee overall budget planning and utilisation.
• Drive change management activities, including impact assessments, adoption strategies, and business readiness planning to support successful implementation outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, while recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry best practices, leveraging innovation to enhance operational efficiency and drive cost improvements.
• Lead and motivate project teams to deliver high-quality solutions that exceed stakeholder expectations and business requirements.

Profile

• Degree holder in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Minimum 8 years of banking experience, ideally with exposure to business banking products and banking operations.
• Experience in areas such as lending, payments, wealth management, digital banking, digital channels, or customer lifecycle management would be advantageous.
• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering innovative solutions in fast-paced and agile environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
• Strong ownership mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service and process excellence.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and business analysis practices.
• Demonstrated capability in executive and C-suite stakeholder management and communication.
• Able to identify required senior stakeholder support, present options clearly, and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Strong evidence of end-to-end project delivery experience and/or robust analytical capabilities.
