Job summary

Hong Kong Maritime Museum Ltd invites an Events Officer to support the Head of Event Sales in developing venue hire opportunities and coordinating the delivery of events. You will provide professional client servicing from initial enquiry through site inspection, preparation, on-site coordination and post-event follow-up to maximise revenue and deliver a high-quality experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Event Management or related discipline.
• Experience in event management, venue hire, hospitality, sales, marketing or client servicing preferred.
• Experience coordinating events and liaising with vendors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Event Sales with venue hire enquiries, quotations and site inspections.
• Coordinate event preparation and logistics with vendors and service providers.
• Provide on-site support for venue hire events and manage day-of operations.
• Maintain clear client communications throughout planning and delivery.
• Conduct post-event surveys and follow-up with clients for feedback and future opportunities.
• Assist in planning and coordinating in-house events and programmes.
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities for venue hire.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives to promote venue hire facilities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, agencies and partners to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain accurate event and client records, including enquiries, quotations and requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head of Event Sales.
