Job summary

The Hong Kong Palace Museum invites applications for an Assistant Venue Sales Officer on a two-year fixed-term contract. You will handle client inquiries, contribute to event planning, and provide end-to-end administrative support throughout the sales and event lifecycle.

You should have a university degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field, plus at least 3 years in venue sales or luxury event management, with fluent English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• University degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in venue sales or event management within luxury hospitality brands.
• Strong organizational skills, high accuracy, and proactive mindset.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
• Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to hotline inquiries and manage client communications through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Collaborate with teams to design event plans, including timelines, venue usage and resource allocations.
• Deliver end-to-end administrative support throughout the sales and event lifecycle.
• Prepare event documentation: applications, quotations and event orders; maintain records in VMS.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless event operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by HKPM.
