Job summary

DFI Retail Group in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Test Lead to manage end-to-end testing for a large-scale ERP implementation across multiple stores and distribution centers.

You will develop testing strategy, lead test planning and data preparation, and report defects and progress to stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and quality in a complex retail environment including SAP and Oracle Retail.

Do you have a passion for implementing an ERP system in the retail environment?

We are seeking a Test Lead to manage end to end testing activities in large scale ERP implementation project. We are in the phase 2 of a 3-year program to deliver a new ERP system to DFI Retail Group's businesses serving customers over 1,800 stores and 5 distribution centers across North Asia to enable complete technical transformations and seamless integrations with other retail and O2O applications.

Responsible for end-to-end test management covering strategy and approach, planning, execution, defect management, reporting, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop testing strategy, approach, and plan in collaboration with implementation partner.
• Manage dependencies of testing plan against overall program plan.
• Oversee development of test script and preparation of test data.
• Manage test execution to ensure that it meets its objectives and timelines.
• Develop test report which includes daily execution report, daily defect report, and management report.
• Identify and manage test related risk and issues.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

• Over 5 years experiences in large scale ERP Implementation project with Tier 1 ERP systems such as SAP or ORACLE with at least 3 years experiences as a Test Manager.
• Strong functional knowledge of ERP Systems such as SAP and ORACLE RETAIL and has worked as a functional consultant.
• Experience of creating test scripts and preparing test data.
• Knowledge of retail business processes in groceries, health and beauty or convenience stores businesses will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication & negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and issues.
• Hands on, creative, independent, resourceful, and willing to drive change.
• Well-organized and customer-focused with an ability to manage different priorities in a global setting.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese is a must.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a related field.
