Job summary

Li & Fung in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Solution Analyst to join our Global IT team. You will analyze business needs, document requirements, and design scalable solutions around JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) and related systems.

You will collaborate with business users, vendors, and tech teams to deliver changes from requirements through deployment, while supporting ongoing operations and driving continuous improvement with a focus on automation and data visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of ERP or solution support experience.
• Hands-on exposure to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), Oracle ERP, SAP, or similar.
• Understanding of finance, supply chain, or related processes.

We are seeking a Senior Solution Analyst to join our Global IT team based in Hong Kong.

Why this role matters

The Senior Solution Analyst is responsible for supporting enterprise applications and delivering technology solutions that meet business requirements. Working closely with business users, technical teams, and external partners, the role analyzes business needs, supports solution delivery, drives continuous improvements, and ensures the effective operation of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) and related business systems.

Here is what you need to know about this role:

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into Functional Business Requirements (FBR), process flows, system configuration specifications, and interface requirements.
• Perform system analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to design practical and scalable solutions that support business objectives.
• Contribute to solution discussions across enterprise technologies, including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), Oracle, SQL, integrations, and related platforms, ensuring requirements and solution objectives are properly documented throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Application Development, Support, Enhancement & Continuous Improvement

• Provide functional support, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) and related business applications.
• Investigate application issues, coordinate resolution activities, and manage enhancement and change requests through to closure.
• Drive improvements in workflow efficiency, process automation, data visibility, and reporting capabilities, including AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.

Project Delivery, Testing, Documentation & Governance

• Participate in ERP rollouts, new business onboarding initiatives, technology projects, and major system changes from requirements through deployment.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support issue prioritization and defect resolution, and ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines, quality standards, and business outcomes.
• Maintain functional documentation, training materials, and knowledge repositories while ensuring compliance with IT governance, development standards, and controls.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Partner closely with business users and management to understand priorities, provide project and enhancement updates, and identify opportunities to support business goals.
• Liaise with developers, support teams, and external consultants to facilitate effective solution delivery, issue resolution, and knowledge sharing.
• Provide cross-functional application support and collaborate with other technology teams as required.

Requirements:

Education & Professional Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of ERP, business application, or solution support experience.
• Hands-on exposure to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), Oracle ERP, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of finance, supply chain, procurement, or related business processes.

Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, functional specification development, testing, and enterprise application support.
• Exposure to system integrations such as APIs, EDI, Host-to-Host connectivity, or related technologies.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ERP functional design, application configuration, solution architecture, or Agile delivery practices is an advantage.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business users, vendors, and technology teams.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Industry exposure within trading, sourcing, retail, or distribution environments and an interest in automation, continuous improvement, and AI-enabled solutions are advantageous.
