Job summary

Promise (Hong Kong) Co., Limited is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide deskside and remote end‑user support in a fast‑paced environment. You will maintain asset inventories, assist with patching and hardware replacements, and help monitor networks, while building Windows images with Windows Deployment Services.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT support, strong Windows/macOS skills, and solid English/Cantonese communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands‑on IT support, deskside/end‑user focus preferred.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting for PCs, laptops and peripherals.
• Solid Windows 10/11 and macOS setup, config and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and common business apps.
• Experience in applying SOPs for application support and documentation.
• Familiar with TCP/IP networking, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, routers and switches.
• Strong English and Cantonese communication; able to work independently and in a team.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Provide deskside and remote technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and handheld device issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to documentation and the knowledge base for recurring issues.
• Adhere to IT security policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
• Assist with user PC patch updates, onsite hardware replacement, mobile device management, and network monitoring as required.
• Build and deploy Windows System images using Windows Deployment Services.
• Collaborate on and contribute to various IT infrastructure and technology-related projects.

Qualifications & experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in IT support roles, with a strong preference for deskside or end‑user computing support.
• Proven track record in hardware troubleshooting and repair for PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
• Solid experience in Windows 10/11 and macOS setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business productivity applications.
• Experience in providing application support following standard operating procedures or documentation.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
