Job summary

MTR Corporation is seeking an experienced professional to provide technical reviews and advisory support for property development projects in Hong Kong, guiding them from inception through handover.

You will assist in master development schemes to enable implementation of development agreements and liaise with project managers, consultants, and railway interfaces to ensure smooth handover to Property Management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including 2 years at managerial level.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical reviews, advice and workable solutions for development projects from inception to handover.
• Assist in preparing master development schemes for development agreements.
• Facilitate developers, project managers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal parties for interfacing with railway facilities and handover to Property Management.
• Provide technical advice on sustainability and innovative designs for new developments.

Job description

Provide technical reviews, advice and workable solutions for implementation of the Corporation's property development projects in Hong Kong from inception to completion and handover

Assist in the preparation of master development schemes to facilitate implementation of development agreements for property development projects

Facilitate the developers as well as their project managers and consultants to ensure satisfactory completion and delivery of property projects

Facilitate coordination with internal parties for interfacing with railway facilities and handover to Property Management teams

Provide technical advice on sustainability and innovative designs to suit for new property developments

Requirements

Degree in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at managerial level

Possession of a recognised professional qualification in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

Experience in large-scale developments with good knowledge of property markets and planning, building services and E&M systems, contract administration, project costing and programming is essential

Be familiar with relevant Government departments and utilities company approvals, procedures, regulations and processes

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese

Remarks

Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
