Job summary

Urban Group in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee operations and maintenance of E&M and building services across projects. You will oversee tendering, project administration and coordinate with owners, tenants, contractors and consultants.

The role requires a degree or higher diploma in building-related fields, membership in HKIE/HKIS/RICS/CIOB or equivalent, and at least 10 years of facilities management experience including 5 years in a managerial role, with

Qualifications

• Degree/Higher Diploma in Building Studies or related discipline.
• Professional/Qualified HKIE/HKIS/RICS/CIOB or equivalent is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years in facilities, property maintenance and management, incl. 5 years in a managerial role.
• Familiar with tender drafting, procedures and E&M/building projects.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
• Strong written and spoken Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the facilities to ensure effective operation and maintenance.

• Prepare tender documents for maintenance, repairing and improvement works of E&M and builder works; perform project administration.
• Handle regular maintenance of E&M and builder works.

Prepare tender documents for maintenance, repairing and improvement works of E&M and builder works and perform the project administration.

Handle regular maintenance of both E&M and builder’s works.

Liaise and handle owner’s/tenant’s requests on technical related services.

Propose energy saving and environment initiative with cost analysis

Requirements:

Degree/ Higher Diploma holder in Building Studies, Surveying, Building Services, Electrical, Mechanicalor a related discipline.

Professional/ Qualified member of HKIE, HKIS (BS or PFM)/ RICS (BS or FM)/ CIOB/ HKICM/CIBSE/IMechE/BSOMES or relevant professional organizations is an advantage

Minimum 10 years of solid experience in facilities,property maintenance and management,including at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Familiar with tender drafting,proceduresand implementationrelated to E&M, building renovation, OSH,MBIS/ Minor Works proceeding

Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, to manage multi-projects simultaneously, and to work under pressure

Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders like corporate clients, owners’ corporations, contractors/ suppliers and consultants, etc.

Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
