Job summary

Swire Properties, Hong Kong, seeks an Assistant Engineer (E&M) to join the Technical Services Team at Pacific Place. The role covers operation and maintenance of building services across the Pacific Place portfolio to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and can communicate effectively in English and Chinese. Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience in commercial building operation and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

We are currently looking for a talented Assistant Engineer to join our Technical Services Team in Hong Kong’s premier lifestyle hub - Pacific Place. It is the ultimate place to shop, dine, work, play and relax. Our Technical Team of specialised engineers and building surveyors are dedicated professionals who drive our sustainable practices forward, make cutting-edge enhancements to our buildings so Pacific Place is even more exceptional, and support our daily operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for operation and maintenance of the building services systems across existing commercial properties in the Pacific Place portfolio
• Assist in implementing environmental and energy-saving projects
• Supervise contractors and in-house technicians to carry out routine repairs and maintenance works
• Monitor alteration and improvement work involving building services installations and systems in designated buildings or areas
• Handle enquiries and emergency callouts on all building services matters and prepare technical reports

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree holder or equivalent in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience in commercial building operation and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work with people at all levels
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Good PC skills on AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
