Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau seeks a proactive Personal Line Claims professional to handle travel, home, helper, and personal accident claims. You will quickly decide on-site needs, estimate reserves, and coordinate with insured and providers to accelerate settlements.

Fresh graduates with customer focus and strong communication are welcome; proficiency in MS Office and Cantonese/English is required. This role supports corporate claims quality and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education or equivalent qualification.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (e.g. customer service, insurance support roles, or internship).
• Fresh graduates with strong interest and aptitude are welcome.
• Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional qualifications such as ANZIIF or ACII will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate) and Chinese Word Processing.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Cantonese and English.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong team player and able to work independently and under pressure.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle Personal Line Claims including Travel, Home, Helper and Personal Accident.
• Make immediately decision and arrangement upon receiving loss notification on whether site inspection/investigation is required or not.
• Provide appropriate initial estimation on the extent of loss (reserves).
• Manage and follow-up with insured and other service providers/third parties to expedite claim settlement; identify and pursue claims recovery after settlement.
• Assist to minimize claims turnaround time and ensure claims services quality.
• Identify, investigate and handle any potential fraudulent claim cases with the Fraud manager.
• Assist with departmental and team administration and common tasks.
