Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an entry-level Personal Line Claims Handler to manage claims across Travel, Home, Helper and Personal Accident lines. You will make immediate decisions on inspections, estimate loss reserves, and coordinate with insureds and service providers to expedite settlements.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Fluency in Cantonese and English, strong communication, and attention to detail are essential as you support fraud screening and general claims administration.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education or equivalent qualification.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (customer service, insurance support, or internship).
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ANZIIF or ACII will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Chinese Word Processing.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Strong team player able to work independently under pressure.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle Personal Line Claims including Travel, Home, Helper and Persona Accident.
• Decide on site inspection/investigation requirements upon loss notification.
• Provide initial estimation on extent of loss (reserves).
• Manage and follow-up with insured and service providers/third parties to expedite settlement.
• Identify and proceed with claims recovery after settlement.
• Assist to minimize claims turnaround time and maintain service quality.
• Identify, investigate and handle potential fraudulent claims with Fraud manager.
• Assist with departmental and team administration tasks.
