Job summary

Lloyd Karson International Limited is seeking a Senior Claims Officer (Personal Line) in Hong Kong to handle complex Personal Accident and Medical claims, within KPIs and approval limits. The role involves addressing inquiries, understanding underwriting processes, and supporting the department with reports.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of Personal Insurance/medical claim experience, strong English and Chinese communication, and solid MS Word/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with professional qualifications in insurance or related disciplines.
• 2-4 years of Personal Insurance and medical claim processing or General insurance experience.
• Good analytical and organizational skills needed to manage a high volume of assigned cases.
• Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, analytical, and detailed minded in problem-solving.
• Good command of English and Chinese in both written and spoken.
• Sound PC skills in MS Word, Excel & Chinese word processing.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex claims cases, make decisions and recommendations as needed for Personal Accident and Medical new applications within KPIs and approval limits.
• Address inquiries from sales channel representatives and internal staff.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the underwriting process and suggest potential improvements.
• Offer administrative support to the department, including preparing reports.
• Engage in testing and take on ad-hoc underwriting tasks or projects as assigned by the Manager.
