Job summary

OOCL is seeking a Manager, Network & Cooperation Intra Regional Vessel Planning to drive growth by evaluating demand and pursuing consortium partnerships. You will optimize vessel deployment and liaise with peers for joint services, while conducting financial feasibility studies for new routes and reviewing cost allocations with Finance.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Shipping or Logistics Management, Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in shipping and logistics; candidates with less experience may be Deputy Manager.
• Strong analytical skills, numerical sensitivity, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, fast learner and a good team player.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; Mandarin preferred.
• Proficient in PC skills and MS Office; strong Excel and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Explore network growth opportunities by examining demand outlook and partnerships.
• Review and optimize network efficiency and vessel deployment strategies with trade requirements.
• Liaise and negotiate with other shipping lines for consortium partnerships and joint services.
• Conduct financial and operational feasibility studies for new services and simulate P&L models.
• Review internal system cost allocations and coordinate with Finance for slot cost provisions.
• Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
