Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Hong Kong seeks an Analyst/Associate for the APAC Firmwide Strategy group to work on high-impact strategic projects at the top management level. The role spans growth strategy, market entry, and deep-dive analyses, collaborating with leaders across functions.

You will join a high-performing team drawn from top strategy consultancies, investment banks, and internal JPMorgan Chase groups, contributing to the firm’s global presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience from a premier management consulting firm, investment bank, equity research, or internal strategy groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to convey analysis and findings.
• Openness to work in an environment of active developmental feedback from peers.
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams with strong interpersonal, leadership, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and get involved in initiatives to resolve diverse problems identified by senior leaders.
• Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities.
• Execute analyses and provide insights to identify issues and recommendations.
• Gather, synthesize, analyze and present data (e.g., financial modeling, valuation).
• Perform competitor and industry research leveraging public and non-public sources.
• Develop strategic presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports with the team and senior executives.
