Job summary

JPMorganChase in Hong Kong seeks an Associate for Private Capital Markets within APAC Equity Capital Markets. You will help private companies raise capital, work on private equity sources, and engage a wide investor base across APAC.

The role involves transactions from equity to structured deals, with training and strong growth opportunities. You will collaborate with issuer clients, analyze investor suitability, prepare marketing materials, and manage deal processes with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time investment banking or buyside experience.
• Keen interest in private capital markets and minority equity structures.
• Desire to work across markets and sectors with exposure to various transactions.
• Proficient in corporate finance and flexible across capital structures.
• Impeccable communication skills with senior professionals and clients.
• Fluency in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with issuer clients to understand business models, metrics, and projections.
• Analyze investor universe and engage with investors during outreach and execution.
• Assist in preparing transaction marketing and process materials.
• Coordinate deal processes from launch to signing with clients and advisers.
• Handle diverse tasks and seize opportunities to step up across deals.
• Receive training and mentoring to develop investment banking skills.
• Aim to become a senior client executive capable of generating and executing transactions.
