Job summary

Hongkong FCAA Company Limited is seeking an experienced Sommelier for a new restaurant opening in 2027. You will combine strong wine knowledge with engaging, intuitive service to make wine approachable and to contribute to a distinctive beverage programme.

You will support wine list development, provide personalised recommendations, manage cellar operations, and collaborate with culinary and service teams to deliver a cohesive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Proven sommelier experience in a fine-dining environment.
• Strong knowledge of wine regions, producers, vintages and food pairing.
• A recognised wine qualification is advantageous.

About you

• Proven sommelier experience in a fine-dining environment
• Strong knowledge of wine regions, producers, vintages and food pairing
• A recognised wine qualification is advantageous
• Good spoken English and Chinese; Cantonese and/or Mandarin
• Polished presentation and the ability to engage guests without pretension
• Composure under pressure and a collaborative, accountable working style
