Williams Lea (Hong Kong) Ltd is seeking a Solutions Consultant for a 6-month project-based engagement. You will be the key technical contact, working with clients and client technical teams to understand requirements, configure software solutions, and resolve technical issues without coding.

We are seeking a Solutions Consultant for a 6-month project-based engagement. In this role, you will act as a key technical contact, working directly with clients and client technical teams to understand requirements, configure software solutions, and resolve technical issues. This is a non-developer support position ideal for someone with strong functional application experience, solid technical fundamentals in networking and access management, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Technical Communication: Confidently discuss broad technical concepts and project requirements with client stakeholders and client technical teams; investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly.
System Configuration: Configure, manage, and maintain software applications to meet user and operational requirements (no coding or software development required).
Technical Interface: Engage in technical discussions around application workflows, access controls, data transfers, and basic network integration.
Security & Privacy Oversight: Apply fundamental information security and data privacy principles across all client configurations and support interactions.
Requirements (Must-Have)
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Cantonese (both written and spoken).
Application Support Experience: Proven track record in operating, configuring, and supporting software applications for end-users.
Technical Fundamentals: Sound functional understanding and ability to discuss concepts related to:
User Authentication & Identity: Single Sign-On (SSO), Entra ID / Active Directory.
Data Transfer & Files: CSV data structure, sFTP authentication, and secure data transfer protocols.
Network Principles: Basic networking protocols and data flow dynamics.
Data Security & Privacy: Solid understanding of information security concepts, user access controls, and data protection best practices.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to translate technical topics clearly to both non-technical and technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
Advanced Access & Authentication: In-depth technical knowledge or configuration experience with SSO, identity provider (IdP) integration, and authentication protocols.
Network & Device Management: Practical experience setting up or configuring network devices (e.g., routers) and mobile devices.
Process Mapping: Experience building process flowcharts and system diagrams using Microsoft Visio or similar workflow mapping tools.
Mailroom Operations: Direct operational experience or familiarity with mailroom workflows and technology.
