Job summary

Cathay Pacific is seeking a Solution Lead within the IT Department to bridge business and technology, delivering and optimising critical applications for Cathay Cargo Terminal. You will drive solution design, collaborate with architects and developers, and mentor analysts to ensure high-quality delivery while continually enhancing technology capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience in software development, system analysis, business analysis, solution definition and system testing.
• Proven experience engaging with business stakeholders and managing client relationships.
• Knowledge of database and Warehouse Operating System (WOS) is an added advantage.
• Experience supporting 24/7 operational business environments is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate priorities into technology solutions.
• Lead design and delivery of IT products and applications.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and architects on solution designs.
• Provide technical leadership to Solution Analysts and act as escalation point.
• Drive continuous improvement across applications and practices.
• Plan and deliver small to medium-scale technology initiatives.
• Facilitate governance and manage delivery with internal teams and vendors.
