Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead enterprise AI transformations in Hong Kong. You will partner with C-suite and engineering leaders to align data and AI investments with business objectives, while designing secure cloud architectures for data platforms and AI workloads.

You will drive technical presales, craft tailored client solutions, and deliver high-impact architecture presentations across APAC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in technical advisory or as a Solutions Architect/Senior Technical Consultant.
• Deep multi-cloud expertise across major hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong mastery of cloud-native data architecture, real-time analytics, data lakehouses, ETL/ELT, MLOps, and enterprise AI integrations.
• Proven presales experience supporting sales teams and pitching complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid foundation in security, governance, cloud controls, identity management, and FinOps.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with C-level executives and engineering leaders to align data and AI investments with business objectives.
• Design secure, high-performance, cost-optimised cloud architectures for data engineering, warehousing, analytics, and AI/ML workloads.
• Lead discovery workshops, draft tailored solutions, and deliver architecture presentations to clients.
• Ensure all data frameworks comply with security baselines, governance protocols, privacy standards, and FinOps best practices.
• Create architectural artifacts, data flow diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
• Share industry trends and reusable design patterns with internal teams to elevate advisory capabilities.

skills & experience required.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in technical advisory, with a proven track record as a Solutions Architect, Cloud Data Architect, or Senior Technical Consultant.

• Deep multi-cloud expertise designing modern data platforms across at least one major hyperscaler (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Strong technical mastery of cloud-native data architecture, real-time analytics, data lakehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, MLOps, and enterprise AI integrations.

• Proven presales acumen with extensive experience supporting sales teams, designing tailored client solutions, and pitching complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

• Solid foundation in security & governance, including cloud security controls, identity management, compliance frameworks, and cost management (FinOps).

• Outstanding communication skills with native or professional fluency in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is highly advantageous for regional client engagement.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
