Job summary

KOS International Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Solution Architect (Data Warehouse & integration) to define and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint and lead end-to-end design of scalable, high-availability solutions across CRM, BPM/ERP, customer engagement platforms and data warehousing integration.

You will bridge business strategy and technical execution, evaluate technologies and vendors, design the EDW and data lake architectures for high-performance analytics, and drive data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience with at least 3 years as Solutions Architect.
• Experience delivering mission-critical, high-transaction-volume systems in HK or regulated markets.
• Experience architecting business platform solutions and customer-facing solutions.
• Strong data warehousing, data modeling, and integration patterns experience.
• Certified cloud expertise with Azure, AWS or GCP, plus containerization and CI/CD.
• Proficiency with Oracle/SQL Server and MongoDB/Cassandra.

Responsibilities

Solution Architect (Data Warehouse & integration)

Job Descriptions:

• Define and maintain the overall solution architecture blueprint for the enterprise, ensuring alignment with IT strategy and business objectives.
• Lead the end-to-end design of scalable, high-availability solutions across CRM, enterprise business workflow systems (BPM/ERP), customer engagement platforms and data warehousing integration
• Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that our solutions are resilient, scalable, and secure to customers across Hong Kong
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and vendors, ensuring solutions are cost-effective, future-proof, and compliant with local regulatory standards
• Design and oversee the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and data lake architecture, ensuring high-performance analytics and reporting capabilities
• Lead complex data and system integration initiatives, connecting internal systems with external partners
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical risk assessments to ensure solutions adhere to both functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, disaster recovery)
• Review and formulate architectural design to enable AI and advanced technologies initiatives to be implemented and support business strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a Solutions Architect role
• Proven track record of delivering mission-critical, high-transaction-volume systems in Hong Kong or similarly regulated markets.
• Experience architecting business platform solutions and customer-facing solutions
• Data & Integration: Strong expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and integration patterns (ESB, API Gateway, Microservices)
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Certified expertise in major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with experience in containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD pipeline
• Database: Proficiency in both relational (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
