Job summary

Cathay Pacific is seeking a seasoned IT professional to join the Information Technology Department within Cathay Subsidiary Services. You will analyse business needs, translate requirements into functional specs, and lead end-to-end solution design for medium to large initiatives across enterprise systems.

You will work with stakeholders, IT teams and vendors, driving digital transformation and enabling automation and AI-enabled processes to deliver business value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years IT experience with 3+ years in application development and support.
• tertiary qualifications essential.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Good problem solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis and evaluate solution options.
• Drive solution design and assess feasibility, cost and delivery.
• Translate requirements into clear specifications with traceability.
• Facilitate solution walkthroughs and align on specs and dependencies.
• Contribute to technical design including interfaces and data controls.
• Deliver Level 2/3 application support and root-cause analysis.
• Review vendor deliverables with risk and issue management.
• Own delivery of complex initiatives with planning and status reporting.
• Lead digital transformation through technology improvements.
• Drive AI, automation and Power Platform adoption; prototype low-code apps.
