Job summary

Cathay Subsidiary Services seeks a Digital Solution Analyst to drive end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled digital solutions. You will bridge business requirements and technology, prototype AI-powered workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI capabilities in enterprise applications.

With 3-5 years in digital transformation, you will shape requirements, build proofs-of-concept, and apply emerging AI technologies to improve efficiency and decision-making across Cathay’s units.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in digital transformation with hands-on development and business process analysis.
• Solid understanding of AI and LLM concepts with interest in Agentic AI.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications and agentic workflows from prototyping to deployment.
• Experience in proof-of-concepts or evaluating emerging technology solutions and vendors is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and working in an Agile team.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for digital transformation and AI adoption.
• Lead gathering and defining business requirements for digital transformation projects and translate into functional specs and designs.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of digital POCs and pilots from scoping to testing and benefits validation.
• Research, prototype, and apply AI technologies, including Agentic AI and LLMs, to address business needs.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems using Agile practices.
• Transform data analytics findings into actionable reports and visualizations for decision-making.
• Support the Digital Solution Assistant Manager with progress monitoring and troubleshooting.

Cathay Subsidiary Services consists of several independent departments that provides professional services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company'), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, HAS by Cathay and Vogue Laundry.

The Digital Solution Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of technology proof-of-concepts and AI-enabled digital solutions, acting as both a Business Analyst and a hands-on technology practitioner.

This role bridges the gap between business requirements and emerging technologies execution by not only reviewing processes and identifying insights through data analytics but also by directly building, prototyping, and deploying agile digital solutions. By leveraging emerging technology, the incumbent will transform business needs into functional applications and automated workflows that enhance efficiency and drive data-informed decision-making across the assigned business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business units to review and analyze existing business processes, identifying opportunities for digital transformation, process automation, and AI adoption.
• Act as a lead in gathering and defining business requirements for digital transformation and emerging technology projects, translating them into functional specifications, solution designs, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital POCs and pilot projects from solution scoping and vendor evaluation to testing and benefit validation to assess and validate potential digital solutions, providing recommendations based on data-driven insights and analysis.
• Research, prototype, and apply emerging AI technologies, particularly Agentic AI and LLM-based solutions (e.g., AI agents), to address business needs and identify high-value use cases across the assigned business units.
  Partner with low code developer and development team to embed AI capabilities into business applications and automated workflows, elevating existing solutions into more advanced, intelligent solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams and external parties to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise systems, following agile methodologies and best practices.
• Transform data analytics findings into actionable reports and visualizations, providing valuable insights to drive decision-making and project success.
• Support the Digital Solution Assistant Manager in monitoring project progress, and providing technical troubleshooting for deployed solutions to ensure high adoption rates.
• Stay up-to-date with digital and AI technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and business growth.
• Conduct any ad hoc duties or projects as assigned by your superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Management, Artificial Intelligence or a related field; candidates with other educational backgrounds and strong technology know-how combined with relevant experience will also be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in digital transformation with at least 1 year experience in hands‑on development and business process analysis, preferably in the relevant industry.
• Solid understanding of AI and LLM concepts, with a strong interest in applying emerging technologies such as Agentic AI to solve business problems.
• Hands‑on experience in building AI-powered applications and agentic workflows using AI development platforms, from prototyping to deployment, is a definite advantage.
• Experience in conducting proof‑of‑concepts or evaluating emerging technology solutions and vendors is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working with or as part of an agile team.
• Skill and experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with a data‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and present insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
